Day 2 done & dusted. There were times yesterday when i was asking myself why i signed up for this, 5 miles into today i found out why. Cycling in france is 100 times better than in the uk. The roads are smoother with no potholes, the scenery is better , the sun is shining and what little traffic there is seems to have a lot more respect for cyclists. However, we did see a local lad get knocked off his bike today. I dread to think what would've happened to him if we weren't sat in the cafe over the road with 5 first aiders amongst us. I'm so glad I've got these guys with me
