And relax.......

Well that's it. London to Paris bike ride done. Arrived safely at the Eiffell Tower at about 5pm Sunday. It has been an unbelievable experience. I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would and made some really good friends along the way. Went out in Paris for a meal and a good few beers on sunday night and am now safely home.

The whole experience has been hard work, emotional and tiring. The pain in my legs is only just starting to fade but if someone told me I could do the whole thing again this week...........I'd be in London on Friday morning raring to go!

Day 3

Tough day today. When i got to the top of the first big hill and saw this i thought i'd been crucified too. We're at lunch now and we've already cycled as far as we did all day yesterday. Nearly finished now.

Day 2 done & dusted. There were times yesterday when i was asking myself why i signed up for this, 5 miles into today i found out why. Cycling in france is 100 times better than in the uk. The roads are smoother with no potholes, the scenery is better , the sun is shining and what little traffic there is seems to have a lot more respect for cyclists. However, we did see a local lad get knocked off his bike today. I dread to think what would've happened to him if we weren't sat in the cafe over the road with 5 first aiders amongst us. I'm so glad I've got these guys with me

Last refreshment stop before we reach tonight's hotel
